Come play hits from the 80s by learning songs from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen and much more in our 80s Rock camp.

ABOUT THIS CAMP

The 80's brought us a wave of new sounds and genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this camp, we’ll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing songs from the 80's, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
 

SCHEDULE

  • Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day

    • Drop off is no earlier than 8:45 am each day

    • Pick up is no later than 3:15 pm each day

  • Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
     

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE

On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at the school at 2pm and we will be providing more details on the first day of camp.
 

WHAT TO BRING

  • Ear plugs are required for all campers (we have some you can purchase if needed)

  • Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day. 

  • Guitarists must bring their own guitar and/or bass, straps, picks, extra strings, etc.

  • Drummers must bring their own drumsticks
     

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Students are not permitted to leave the facility at ANY time unless going on location with camp leaders, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end time

  • We love our parents, siblings, friends and family members, but please understand that we can only allow students and staff in the school for camps. 
     

PARKING / DROP OFF

Parking is available in our parking lot behind our building which can be accessed through the Raven Pub parking lot to the north of us. Drop off is available directly in front of our building on Deep Cove Road as well.  Please bring your child inside rather than dropping them off at the street. A parent or guardian must be present to pick up each camper. We are unable to let students leave the building on their own at any time, or to meet you on the street. 
 

LOCATION

We are located at 1046 Deep Cove Road between the Raven Pub and Bee Haven Daycare.

2) Sign up and pay for the camp securely through the widget 

  • Do I have a Teacherzone Account? If you take private lessons or do programming at DCM you have a teacherzone account. Usually your username is the student's first and last name without any spaces or capitals. Email us below if you have any questions

  • What if the Camp I am interested is full? The widget will let you know how much space is left in each camp. You can contact us below to join a waitlist if your interested camp is full
