& FILM CluBS
 

DESCRIPTION

​

Have fun developing your acting skills for Film,TV, Commercials and Theatre with on
camera scene work, acting and improvisation games and exercises! This will not only
help your acting skills but increase your self-confidence too!

 

PROJECTS & SKILL DEVELOPMENT

 

• AUDITIONS & FILM WORK:

  • prepare monologues and scenes they can use for auditions for professional talent agents, commercials, films, and theatre.

  • Learn techniques for on camera auditions & acting for film 

  • Prepare and shoot a self tape audition and/or do a live

audition

• Continue to build your demo reel!

 

• RECITALS & BAND FACTORY SHOWS:

  • 2 Performances: Acting Program participants will prepare & perform at two DCM recitals, one in February and one in June.

    • Host BandFactory Shows: Acting Program participants will host our annual Band Factory Tribute Show in February and our Battle of the Bands Show in June.​

 

WHO & WHEN​

• Friday’s from 3:30pm- 5:30pm
  • Ages 6 and up
  • Minimum 3 per class, Maximum of 12
  • Instructor: Jaira Brownlee

 

SCHEDULE & COST:

• $40 per class

• Paid on the 1st of each month for all classes that month.

• Students are registered from September until June in both semesters:

  • Two Semesters: September to January & February to June

  • Must commit to entire semester after first two classes in each semester

• THE DCM FILM CLUB:

  • Use Acting Club skills to be in two major film projects in the DCM Film Club!

  • Participants registered in both the Acting Program and Film Club will receive a 10% discount off both programs.

 

• PRIVATE COACHING:

  • Jaira Brownlee offers 30 min, 45 min, or 60min private coaching to work one on one and further your acting projects!
