Alice Battista

Alice Battista is an experienced triple threat performer, born and raised in North Vancouver. She brings a fun-loving, easygoing vibe to her lessons, and is passionate about fostering a positive, creative, space for her students to learn, grow, and appreciate art. Alice has a diploma from St. Lawrence College, as well as a bachelors degree from Queen’s University, both in Musical Theatre Performance. During her time at these institutions, she had the opportunity to perform in a plethora of live theatre performances, as well as direct, choreograph, and devise her own pieces.

Aside from practical performance classes, Alice also completed courses in music theory, music history, vocal technique, script analysis, theories of theatre, and more, during her time at school. In addition to her post-secondary education, Alice also has her Royal Conservatory of Music Level 8 in piano and music theory. Presently, Alice is pursuing her career as a performer here in Vancouver. She is constantly auditioning for everything from local community theatre, to professional actor/vocalist contracts, as well as film and television. In her teaching here at DCM, Alice hopes to pass this mindset along to her students and encourage the upcoming generation of artists to follow their dreams and let their voices be heard!
