Jaira Brownlee

Jaira Brownlee is a passionate and experienced actor based in Vancouver. Finding her love for acting over 10 years ago with community theatre, she is now a trained performer for both the stage and the screen, studying at institutions such as Vancouver Acting School and Railtown Studios. Jaira is currently signed with Characters Talent Agency and has starred in over 30 short films, as well as commercials, music videos, web series, and the upcoming feature film The Girl Inside the Polaroid. She also is a seasoned improviser as a party princess, Halloween scare actor, and cast member of Junction's Queerprov improv show. You can find Jaira behind the camera as well, writing, directing and editing her own short films and co-leading our Summer Arts Daycamp. Jaira has a passion for working with young performers who share that same spark she had as a child, and believes in making teaching a fun, collaborative, and creative environment.
