YOUNG CHILDREN
Songwriting Club
with dr. Martin wilson
DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to bring musicians together to learn the basics of songwriting complete with music harmony, melody, rhythm and lyrics. (Instrumental songwriters welcome!)
● READING MUSIC: Learn how the language of music works!
● WRITING SONGS: Learn the basics of songwriting, form, and lyrics!
● GOALS: Write 1 - 2 full original songs, and potentially perform solo or with a band, and record demos!
● PERFORMANCE: Perform at DCM Nights or our Spring and Winter Recitals! (optional)

Minimum 3 per class, maximum 6

Fridays 3:45 - 4:45pm

Weekly classes September to June
COST:

$28 per class: Paid on the 1st of each month for all classes that month.

Two Semesters: September to January & February to June

Must commit to entire semester after first two classes in each semester

Students must provide a 4 week written notice to unenroll from the 2nd semester

Group VOCAL class

DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed for singers, actors, readers or presenters to bring out their vocal excellence!
● VOCAL EXPRESSION: Work with rhythm, pitch, and harmony to express yourself!
● VOCAL PRODUCTION: Learn how to control your breathing, phonation, resonance, registration, posture, and support!
● GOALS: Gain an understanding of your voice and how to use it for music, acting or simply speaking!
● PERFORMANCE: Perform at DCM Nights or our Spring and Winter Recitals! (optional)
